JSO: Man shot in knee, injury not life-threatening

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police are investigating after a 21-year-old man was shot in the knee Thursday night in the 3600 block of Buckman Street, which is just west of Talleyrand Avenue.

While walking down the street, the man realized he had been shot in the knee and then ran to a neighbor's house, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The man did not see the person who shot him, or where the shot came from. He was transported to UF Health Jacksonville with an injury that was not life-threatening.
