JSO: Man arrested after calling local Walmarts, threatening to 'shoot everyone'

A man has been arrested in Jacksonville for calling Jacksonville Walmarts, saying there was a bomb in the store and everyone should get out, JSO reported.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has arrested a Jason J Martinez, 37, for reportedly making the disturbing calls to 6 different Walmarts.

In some of the calls, he reportedly threatened to shoot everyone inside the store.  Police said all the calls came from the same phone number, which they later linked to Jason Martinez.

They tracked him down in Hemming Plaza, where he was arrested.

He's now charged with making a false report about planting a bomb and threatening to place a destructive device.
