Jacksonville officers arrested a man for murder after he allegedly shot his long-time friend in the chest with a shotgun.
A Jacksonville Sheriff's Office spokesperson said Jacob Overeem, 32, was found dead on the porch of a home on Dalehurst Drive on Aug. 17.

According to JSO, he had been living with his friend, Michael Walklett, and Walklett's girlfriend for about a month when they got into an argument.
Police said Walklett grabbed a shotgun and shot Overeem in the chest on the porch of the home.
Police said the shooting was captured on neighbors' surveillance video.
Walklett was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
Officers said alcohol is believed to be a factor in the shooting.
