JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville babysitter was convicted of a child's murder seven years ago. New evidence shows, she may not have done it.
A judge overturned the murder conviction for Syna Lim this week.
Lim was convicted of murder in 2-year-old Amara Ou's death in 2009. But new medical information shows Amara may have died from juvenile diabetes, which was never diagnosed.
Lim will now be granted a new trial.
