Kid Care Report: Nanny's Northside Nursery

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --  The Kid Care team went to Nanny's Northside Nursery on Biscayne Blvd. in Jacksonville.  It's a center licensed to care for 50 children. And when the state inspector was here recently four issues came to light that caused it to Miss The Mark.

Some of the problems uncovered during the check:

-The Personnel record not including a copy of the driver's physician's certification which grants medical approval to operate a vehicle.
-There was a fire hazard, such as, an expired fire extinguisher that was observed in the facility.
-Plus, there was a potentially harmful item, Bleach water, found in the infant room and it wasn't labeled as required.

Nanny's Northside Nursery fixed some of the issues while the DCF Inspector was there and the staff got a little time to take care of the other things.

There are also three centers are On The Mark for having violation free inspections.
S A Hull Kindergarten, Ortega Hills Preschool and St. Paul Preschool had perfect reports.
