Lake City 22-year-old killed in crash

A Lake City 22-year-old was killed in a crash in Suwannee County on Wednesday.

Troopers said it is unclear why Kelsey Johnson drove her 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer off the road and into a fence on U.S. 90 near SE Cooper Street at 10:20 a.m.

Troopers said the car flipped and Johnson was killed.

She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, troopers said.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol report.
