JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The owner of a business near the Avenues said it will not be open on Thursday.
B&L Landscaping Co. was the scene of a deadly workplace shooting Wednesday morning. The business is located on Spaner Road near the Avenues Mall.
One person was killed and another was taken into police custody.
"I just have to do something," said an employee who showed up to the business.
The name of the victim and the shooter have not been released.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate.
