A Twitter page with the handle Student Walkout Against Gun Violence , is calling for action after the deadly Parkland high school shooting that killed 17 people and injured 14 others
The goal of the group is to promote a national school walkout event to call attention to gun violence and push lawmakers to make changes.
Students across the country are asked to participate by walking out of class to send a message.
On the 19th I’ll release what day the walkout will take place.
