BRUNSWICK, Ga. - A man found dead in a Brunswick home that he had just moved into was killed in a shooting, Glynn County police said Sunday.
Police started the investigation into the death of Antoni Zalewski, 57, after his body was found in a home on Old Jesup Road Friday.
Authorities found the body at about 7 p.m. after they were called to do a welfare check.
Zalewski's son told Action News Jax his father flipped houses for a living and planned to fix up the house this winter. Zalewski had just moved into the home from Chicago Monday, his son added.
Officers said Zalewski was either selling or giving away old fixtures and materials from the home.
Officers are asking anyone with information about the murder to call 912-554-7802 or the Silent Witness program at 912-264-1333.
