Man shot at West Jacksonville apartment complex

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for the gunman who shot a man Wednesday night in West Jacksonville.

The shooting happened at the Huron Sophia Apartments on Sophia Street.

JSO said someone took the man who was shot to a nearby fire station and he is expected to survive.

Police said three cars at the apartment complex were also hit by gunfire.
