Man shot in face near Circle K in Jacksonville

Surveillance video of man JSO believes to be the shooter

Officers are looking for a man accused of shooting another man multiple times in West Jacksonville in on Jan. 7.

Officers responded at around 12:08 a.m. to a Circle K at Cassat Avenue and Park Street, where they found the victim who had been shot in the face and torso, in a car.

The car, which held three other passengers, was near the Park Street and Lakeshore Boulevard intersection. A white sedan pulled up alongside the victim's red Dodge Charger, and someone shot into the car.

The victim drove to the Circle K. An officer provided first aid to the victim, and a rescue unit took him to UF Health.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office published a video on Facebook of the man suspected of shooting the victim. The man is seen walking in the Circle K.

As a result of our investigation, we have obtained video of a suspect believed to be connected to this shooting.
