Man shot multiple times in NW Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police are looking for a gray or purple car in connection with a shooting in Northwest Jacksonville.

Police responded to Pearce Street, just off Moncrief Boulevard, just before 2 p.m.

Officers found a man in his twenties suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  He told police a man walked up to him and shot him.

He's been taken to UF Health in an unknown condition.

Our Action News photographer at the scene counted markers for 22 shell casings.
