Report: Worker at Jacksonville Wendy's dives through drive-thru window during robbery

The robbery is the second one for the location since August, 2016.

Jacksonville authorities are looking for two men who stole nearly $600 from a Wendy's on Saturday after they shattered the front door with a rock to get in.

According to the police report, it took the men only a minute to rob the restaurant. The location had been robbed before on Aug. 8, 2016.

The reported armed robbery happened at 11:36 p.m. at the Wendy's located on San Jose Boulevard in Mandarin. Officers said two disguised men threw a large rock through the front door to get in.

At the time, only the drive-thru part of the restaurant was open.

The suspects grabbed an employee emptying out trash cans and took her to the back of the restaurant while also stealing her iPhone.

One the the other employees said she escaped by jumping through the drive-thru window.

The suspects made the other employees get to the back of the restaurant and then lie down on the ground. The night side manager opened the safe and gave the money to the suspects.

The employees said the suspects carried two silver pistols.

The employees said the two men were about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches.

Video surveillance shows one of the suspects wearing cargo shorts, a skull cap over his face and a blue back pack. The other suspect was wearing black pants and a shirt with "KS10" writing on it.

Both suspects were reportedly wearing purple surgical gloves.

The iPhone tracker reported the phone being turned off by 11:39 p.m. near the intersection of San Jose and Ricky Drive.
