Officers have identified the man found dead under the Mathews Bridge in Jacksonville on Sunday.
Investigators said Ricky Dailey, 29, was hit by a car while walking eastbound on the Mathews Bridge around 8:45 a.m.
He was thrown over the railing of the bridge and fell onto an embankment 15 to 20 feet below, police said.
He died at the scene. Police said a possible driver and car have been identified.
