The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is asking for the public's help in finding a missing child.
The department said Makayla Rogers, 17, went missing over a year ago on Aug. 19, 2016 from Jacksonville.
Rogers could still be in the Jacksonville area or she might have traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, officials said.
Rogers is described as 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighing about 100 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information about Makayla is asked to contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678 (1-800-THE-LOST) or the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 1-904-630-0500.
