Mother claims maintenance worker groped her at her Jacksonville home

A local mother claims she was assaulted and groped by a maintenance worker and that his employer is ignoring her cries for help.

We’re keeping the alleged victim anonymous. She told Action News Jax the employee, who works for Mitchell and Williams Realty, was at her Northside home to handle a roach problem.

She claims he came up behind her and grabbed her.

“When he noticed that I couldn’t get him off of me, he then kissed my neck and he put his tongue in my ear,” she said. “That’s when I shoved him as hard as I could.”

She said this happened while her three-year-old daughter and girlfriend were in the next room. She filed a police report with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Mitchell and Williams Realty told Action News Jax her claims couldn’t be farther from the truth.

They claim the maintenance worker has never been the subject of a complaint over several years as an employee, and they’re standing by him.

In a phone call, the worker, known as “Mr. G,” denied any wrongdoing.

Employees at the company told the alleged victim "Mr. G" wouldn’t do maintenance work at her home anymore.

She said that isn't enough.

“You’re not telling me you’re going to fire him, you’re not telling me you’re going to suspend him, and you’re not giving me his name so I can file an injunction to protect myself,” she said.
