Jammie Knight, a mother of two had a seemingly normal life, working as a nail tech and parenting her children.
October 2017, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer.
She discovered a lump in her breast a year ago. Now this faith filled woman is speaking out in hopes other women will be screened regularly.
The American Cancer Society recommends yearly mammograms beginning at age 45.

Something she wishes she had done, possibly catching it sooner. “If I would have done my regular mammograms I wouldn’t have to go through everything that I’ve been through,” she said.
Knight has gone through multiple rounds of chemotherapy. Her doctors say she is too high risk for more. Knight was not chosen for a trial drug and she is now wondering what is next.
