A Jacksonville mother says she misses everything about her 10-year-old son who died on a park swing set.
Action News Jax spoke to Latonya Green about the tragic accident that took her son’s life.
“When I close my eyes, this whole scene replays in my head,” said Latonya Green. “I was shocked, panicked. I was, like, 'Tonya, save your baby. Try and save your baby.' Like, that was the main thing: Try and save your baby."

Green recalls the events of Friday night, when her son, 10-year-old Nahshon Green, died while playing on the swing set, with his brothers and mother nearby.
“When I close my eyes, this whole scene replays in my head,” Green said.
Police say it was an accident, but Green says that doesn’t help her pain, misery and grief.
“When I hopped the fence, I was, like, 'Tonya save your baby.' That was the only thing that was on my mind; Just try and save your baby. Do what you can do as a mother,” said Green.
On Monday, family and friends met at the park where the 10-year old died. His name was spelled out on the ground with candles, and his picture at the center of the small, intimate circle. His death is still hard for Green to grasp.

“Who wants to lose their child? Who wants to lose their child? That’s really a hard pill. That’s something that I’m have to deal with for the rest of my life,” Green said.
The family is now making funeral arrangements. A GoFund Me page has been set up for Nahshon.
