A motorcyclist is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries Sunday after a crash in Jacksonville.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said that shortly after 7 p.m. a motorcycle and a vehicle collided at the intersection of Johnston Avenue and Atlantic Boulevard.
The adult driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital.
Police said there were no other injuries requiring hospitalization.
Traffic Homicide Detectives are conducting the investigation.
Both westbound lanes at 6900 Atlantic Blvd. are currently closed and traffic is being rerouted around the crash site.
