A parent in Neptune Beach is keeping parents and students entertained every Monday by getting into character during his role as a volunteer safety patrol.

Duval County Public Schools posted several photos of Jason Slaveski donned in costumes while helping children safely cross the road at Neptune Beach Elementary School.

Duval County Schools said Slaveski is one of many of the school’s parent-volunteers helping out with everyday needs of the school day.

The schools thanks Slaveski for volunteering his time and bringing smiles to everyone at the beginning of the school week.
