Putnam County Sheriff's Office discussed one of the largest drug busts in our area Tuesday, called "Operation Polar Pop."
Deputies said it was a yearlong investigation into a crystal meth trafficking organization.

According to deputies, the meth trafficking ring was led by 49-year-old James Lester Calloway, Jr. of Jacksonville.
Calloway was supplying crystal meth for sale and consumption, according deputies.

Deputies said they seized approximately 20 pounds of crystal meth with a street value of $800,000, as well as $100,000 cash and six guns during the operation.
