Selfie of woman holding stolen tablet emailed to owner

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has identified a woman in connection with the burglary of a tablet.

Police say a person or people broke into a home on Katherine Road in North Jacksonville Friday, April 24.

The accused burglar or burglars reportedly came into the home through a bedroom window and took several items, including a Samsung tablet.

When the tablet turned on, it took a photo of the person holding the device. The woman in the photo appears to be sitting in a vehicle.

The owner of the tablet received an email with the picture and the location, which was on Archery Avenue on the Northside.

The woman in the picture is not considered a suspect at this time, according to police.
