Crews found a body they believe belongs to a St. Johns County man who never returned from a paddleboarding trip.

ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH, Fla. — Kenton Miller, 59, was last seen in the area of Ocean Trace Road at St. Augustine Beach Sunday.

His wife reported him missing after he did not return home from a paddleboarding trip Sunday evening.

Authorities initially found his truck on the beach but did not find him or his paddleboard in the area.

They found the body they believe to be his 7 miles south of the Ocean Trace Ramp. The paddleboard was also recovered by the U.S. Coast Guard.

Officials said the district's medical examiner's office will positively identify the body.

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office and Coast Guard searched the beach and ocean for Miller.
