PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — A Putnam County man is accused of threatening to bomb a nursing home.
Donell Johnson, 43, threatened to “blow up” the building with a packaged explosive device, Palatka Police Department said. Employees of Crestwood Nursing Home told police Sunday they received numerous calls from his phone.
Police said Johnson also threatened to shoot anyone he saw leaving.
At the time of his arrest, no weapons or explosives were found.
Police believe he called the nursing home because of a fight he got into with an employee there.
Johnson was arrested on charges of making a bomb threat and providing a false name.
