Parents of students at Bartram Trail High School feared the school was on lockdown on Thursday morning.
St. John's County School District Transportation sent a text to parents at approximately 9:15 a.m. stating that the school was not on lockdown, but one of their school buses was hit by a turkey.
"As bus 232 was on the way to BTHS a turkey flew into the side windshield of the bus cracking the glass," said St. John's County School District Transportation.
There were no reported injuries to students.
