Part of Soutel Drive remains closed after water main break

Water is restored to all customers affected by a water main break on Jacksonville’s Northwest side.

JEA first tweeted about a water pipe that burst, on the corner of Soutel Drive and Moncrief Road—around 12 noon on Friday morning.

JEA Crews have been out there for hours, working to fix the problem.

While the pipe has been replaced and water has been pressurized, part of the work area will remain closed to traffic.

All lanes on Soutel Drive, from Moncrief Road—west to Agesen Road—will remain closed until midnight.
