The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said a juvenile was found unresponsive inside an apartment on Old Kings Road. The child was transported and pronounced dead, according to police.
Action News Jax reporter Russell Colburn is at the scene gathering information. The Sheriff's Office said investigators are working to interview people who were near the scene.

Neighbors are telling Colburn that the incident police responded to involves a mom, a newborn baby and a man. Neighbors said they saw the woman and newborn being taken away by an ambulance.
