A child fell into a swimming pool Saturday Saturday in Jacksonville has died, a family member told Action News Jax.

The child was found in a backyard pool at a home in the Mandarin area. Police went to a home on Collins Creek Drive shortly after 1 p.m. to a call about a toddler who fell into a pool.
Neighbors tell Action News Jax reporter Kevin Clark that a family had just moved in the home last week.
The child was taken to the hospital.
Homicide unit joined JSO in the investigation.
