Police: Uber driver arrested in St. Augustine after attacking rider

An Uber driver is accused of pulling a knife on one of his passengers in St. Augustine.

St. Augustine police say Ronald Patterson was driving a group to their Airbnb at approximately 2:30 a.m. Saturday when he pushed one of the passengers to the ground.

He pulled a small knife on him, according to the police report.

The group gave police Patterson's tag number. Police say Patterson admitted to the attack and was arrested, but they didn't anything about a possible motive.
