Raw sewage, flying insects found during inspection at Red Robin near St. Johns Town Center

The brand-new Red Robin near the St. Johns Town Center had 19 violations when it was checked by inspectors.

The restaurant opened July 24.

Among the issues? Small flying inspects in the kitchen — and raw sewage found outside the back door.

The inspector also saw raw food stored over ready-to-eat food in the freezer, and salmon and eggs stored at potentially hazardous temperatures.

Action News Jax went to the restaurant to ask about the issues and was told, “Everything’s fine."
