Red light runners beware

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is putting in red light cameras at new intersections across NE Florida.

Notices of violation will be sent to drivers who run the light at these intersections, starting 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30:

  • Beach Boulevard and San Pablo Road – Eastbound Approach
  • Beach Boulevard and St. Johns Bluff Road – Eastbound Approach
  • Beach Boulevard and St. Johns Bluff Road – Westbound Approach
  • Gate Parkway and Southside Boulevard – Eastbound Approach

New cameras are going up at these intersection, which will be under a warning and grace period starting at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 31:

  • Beach Boulevard and Hodges Boulevard Westbound
  • Beach Boulevard and Kernan Boulevard Eastbound
  • Beach Boulevard and Kernan Boulevard Westbound
  • Southside Boulevard and Hogan Road Southbound
  • Southside Boulevard and Hogan Road Northbound
