A pedestrian has life-threatening injuries after being struck by a speeding car that exited off I-295 and onto 103rd Street, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Pictures sent to Action News Jax showed a car that crashed near the Gate Station near the entrance ramp to I-295.
The FHP said a car traveling north on I-295 exited at a high rate of speed and rear-ended a car before striking a fence. The driver was taken into custody.
