JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One person was injured in a crash involving a school bus in Baymeadows, officials said.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a crash involving a school bus and truck just before 7 a.m. on Baymeadows Road near Point Meadows Drive
Officials said one person was taken to the hospital. However, who the person is or the severity of the injuries are unknown.
There were 16 students on the bus at the time of the crash and were not injured, according to Duval County Public Schools. The students were headed to Atlantic Coast High School.
DCPS said parents were contacted.
It is not known what caused the crash.
