School bus crash in Putnam County under investigation

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — A school bus crash in Putnam County Wednesday morning is under investigation.

The school bus had three students and one adult attendant on board. No one on the school bus reported being hurt, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.

The bus was hit by another vehicle on SR 20 near Rowland Avenue, officials said.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the driver of a Ford Focus drove hit the back of the school bus.

Troopers said the driver of the vehicle was injured. The driver is being treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Another bus is en route to pick up the students and take them to Interlachen Elementary School. Parents are being notified, deputies said.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
