School bus rear-ended by car, 28 Ribault Middle students on board

Twenty-eight students from Ribault Middle School were on board a bus that was rear-ended by a car at Roanoake and Sibbald Road.

Three Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department rescue units responded to the scene.

Preliminary reports indicated that there were no injuries in the crash, however some students complained of minor pain and will be evaluated as a precautionary measure, Duval County Public Schools said.
