A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Southeast Georgia and Nassau County in Florida until 10 p.m.

The First Alert Weather Team will be tracking a line of thunderstorms moving southeast from central Georgia this evening.

First Alert Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh said the storms will be entering our Southeast Georgia counties between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. A few of these storms could potentially be strong to severe.

The main threats are damaging winds and some hail for Southeast Georgia. These storms will generally be weakening before or near the FL/GA border.
