There was a shootout between two cars Wednesday near Merrill Road in Arlington, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office said two juveniles, between the ages of 16 and 18, are in custody and may be related to the shootout on Merrill Road.
Both juveniles showed up at the hospital. One of the juveniles had a gunshot wound.
Officers said one car involved crashed nearby and four individuals ran away from that car.
An employee of a nearby business heard at least 10 gunshots.
Police do not believe they were the individuals in the car that crashed. They say they may have been in the other vehicle.
