St. Johns County deputies arrested a suspect, Charles Edward Price, 60, after a deadly double shooting Monday, deputies said.
One man is dead and a second is hurt after the shooting on Margarita Road in East Palatka, according to Putnam County Sheriff Gator DeLoach.
DeLoach said the sheriff's office got several 911 calls after the victims were shot in the road.
He said St. Johns County deputies saw someone matching the description of the shooter and took them into custody in St. Johns County, deputies said.
Deputies have not yet identified the suspect or victims.
DeLoach said Price lived at the home on Margarita Road and knew the victims, but it's unclear what their relationship entailed.
He said he believes the Price opened fire on the victim with a shotgun.
