Suspects in Navy commander's murder plead not guilty

GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. — The three people accused of killing a Navy Commander pleaded not guilty in court Wednesday.

Yolinda Doss, 44, is the estranged wife of Alphonso Doss.

Investigators say she and her two co-defendants, 29-year-old Anthony Washington and 33-year-old Ronnie Wilson II, killed Doss at the Astoria Hotel in Orange Park in February.

All three face charges of first-degree murder and burglary with assault or battery.

Investigators believe the trio killed Doss in an effort to collect his $1 million life insurance.
