Taylor Williams' mother assigned 2 senior public defenders specializing in homicide cases

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE, 11/25/19: The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said remains found in Alabama on Nov. 12 are that of missing 5-year-old Taylor Rose Williams.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has canceled the Amber Alert for Taylor.

TAYLOR WILLIAMS CASE

We're told the case against Brianna Williams -- who is a person of interest in her daughter Taylor's disappearance -- is being handled just like any other felony case.

Right now, Brianna Williams is facing felony charges of child neglect and lying to police, but she could be facing more charges.

That's why the public defender's office has assigned her case to its two top attorneys known for defending homicide and felony cases.
