The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office arrested 21-year-old Abrion Maurice Price Thursday night after a traffic stop regarding a broken taillight.
Price was the third and final suspect to be arrested in connection with the shooting death of 7-year-old Heidy Rivas Villanueva.
He made his first appearance in front of a judge to face a murder charge.

Tonight, Heidy’s father is speaking out. He tells Action News Jax his family can breathe a little easier knowing JSO tracked down all three of the suspects in this case.
“It’s irreparable,” said Heidy’s father. “Even if they get the death penalty or are locked up for years, they won’t be able to give me back the happiness I had with my daughter.”
JSO said Price tried running from police after a car he was riding in was pulled over. He was quickly tracked down by a K-9.
“I give thanks to God, because he allowed that these people get caught,” Heidy's father said. “I’m also thankful to police, because they put a lot of effort into this to be able to catch these delinquents who were doing illegal things and leaving innocent families mourning.”
Price had been on the run for days. Two other people involved, 19-year-old Stanley Harris, and 17-year-old Trevonte Phoenix, were arrested Tuesday. Harris is charged with possession of a weapon or ammunition by a Florida delinquent adult felony. Phoenix is charged with murder.
Heidy’s father tells us the family is regaining a sense of security.
“I’m only safe in the hands of God, but now I feel a little more safe because at least I can stand outside knowing that these people won’t pass by and shoot me. It’s a trauma that never goes away in life, it’s a pain that you’ll never be able to remedy,” he said.
We’re emailing JSO, asking if anyone was harboring Price or aiding him in his run from the police.
