Truck burns in front of NAS Jax

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A truck burned in front of NAS Jacksonville Thursday evening.

The Florida Highway Patrol shut down two northbound lanes of U.S. 17 during rush hour to get the fire under control.

Several viewers sent Action News home videos of the fire, which happened in front of the Birmingham gate of the base.

No word on any injuries or what caused the fire.
