Two children were killed in a two-car crash on I-295 south near Pritchard Road Saturday, troopers said.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 2007 Chevy Impala driven by Kenyota Johnson, 28, was southbound when a Chevy Tahoe crashed into the back of it at 1 a.m.
Johnson's children, Symere Woolbright, 5, and Rickale Woodbright, 10, were fatally hurt in the crash.
Johnson had minor injuries and two other children in the Impala, ages 8 and 15, were seriously hurt.
The driver of the Tahoe, 43-year-old Jotham Patrick, was also seriously hurt in the crash, FHP said.
Troopers are working to determine the cause of the crash.
