U.S. Postal Service hiring for temp jobs in Jacksonville, St. Johns County

The U.S. Postal Service said Tuesday that they are accepting applications for temporary, non-career positions, including Holiday Clerk Assistant and City Carrier Assistant at several Post Offices in North Florida and South Georgia.

Currently, one or both positions are available at the locations listed below.

Florida: Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Lecanto, Milton, Niceville, Ocala, Orange Park, Panama City, Pensacola, Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Augustine. 

Georgia: Albany, Augusta, Brunswick, Savannah, Valdosta

The salary is $16.06 per hour. Successful applicants will have a work schedule that includes holidays and weekends, and the Postal Service says employees must be available when called to report to work.
