Video captures suspect stealing fundraising jar for 7-year-old Jacksonville girl killed

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office reported Tuesday evening that for the second time in three days a fundraising container for the family of 7-year-old Heidy Rivas-Villanueva, who was killed in the crossfire of a shootout, has been stolen.

The second theft took place at the La Raza Mexican Store located at 21 N. Arlington Ave. on Sunday, according to police, who also said the jar wasn't noticed missing until the following day.

The store owner told police that the container had at least $500 as of its last counting.

The video shows a black male wearing a "Maple Biscuit" T-shirt taking the jar.
