Woman accused of having oral sex in Duval County Courthouse appears in court

The woman accused of having oral sex in the Duval County Courthouse appeared before a judge Thursday and didn’t shy away from Action News Jax cameras.

Jones waved and smiled while in court. The 26-year-old was arrested Wednesday night on an unnatural and lascivious act charge.

JSO first announced Feb. 6 that they were looking for her as well as Jeremiah Robinson, 35, the man who took part in the sex act. The video was recorded on a bench outside a courtroom on the fourth floor and later published on Jones' Twitter profile.

Jones posted on Facebook that she had traveled to New York and said she had turned herself in Feb. 7 but never did.

Jones’ attorney, Jerry Sessions, said he has yet to watched the video. Sessions said Jones will enter a plea of not guilty at her arraignment Feb. 28.
