Woman shot in drive-by shooting in Brentwood

The JSO on scene where a woman was shot in a drive-by.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a woman was shot once in a drive-by shooting in Brentwood early Saturday morning.

Officers tell Action News the woman was transported to UF Health.

The JSO says the gunshot wound is non-life threatening.

The woman told police she was standing in her yard when a vehicle drove by and someone in that vehicle shot her.

Police do not have a description of the vehicle nor anyone in custody.
