Wrestler from St. Simons Island killed in Ohio plane crash

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. — A college wrestler from southeast Georgia died in a plane crash in Ohio.

A rented plane carrying four students from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland went down near the Cuyahoga County airport Monday night.

John Hill, 18, of St. Simons Island, was killed.

According to WOIO, the CBS affiliate in Cleveland, the 1999 Cessna model 172R was piloted by 20-year-old William Felten of Saginaw, Michigan.  WOIO reports Felten had his regular license for a month after having a temporary pilot's license for a year.

Also killed in the crash were 18-year-old Abraham Pishevar of Rockville, Maryland, and 20-year-old Lucas Marcelli of Massillon, Ohio.

No word yet on the cause of the crash, but investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board say the plane did not get very far off the ground.
