Man suspected in attack on UF campus sought by police

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - University of Florida Police were searching for a man believed to have attacked a woman on campus overnight.

UF sent out Alerts through Twitter about a man suspected in the attack. The incident was reported in the area of Library West.

The man is described as 6 feet tall, large build and in his 20s with brown hair and beard. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt and blue cargo shorts.

According to UF's  Twitter account, the man ran in an unknown direction and officers on campus and the Gainesville Police Department searched for him. However, the man was no located.
