ORLANDO, Fla. -- One person was killed Friday in a crash involving a car and Disney World bus, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on Epcot Center Drive near East Overpass Road about 4 p.m.
A 1996 Buick and the bus were traveling westbound on Epcot Center Drive in the left lane. Witnesses said the car was in front of the bus and stopped in the lane.
The driver of the bus, 33-year-old David Lee Morales of Gotha, was unable to stop, according to a report.
The bus hit the back of the car and the 63-year-old Orlando woman driving the Buick died at Celebration Hospital, said the report.
An infant and teen who were on the bus were transported to Celebration Hospital after the crash with minor injuries, an FHP spokeswoman said.
There were 36 people on the bus, said an FHP spokeswoman.
The bus is owned and operated by Mears Transportation and contracted by Disney to transport guests to and from the Orlando International Airport and the theme park resorts.
The crash remains under investigation.
